An old farm cottage, the property was in dire need of a full renovation. We worked very hard on the spatial planning and architectural details of this property. With its compact living quarters and lots of under-utilised space we opened up the entire property reconfiguring walls and making the flow more natural and creating a sense of vastness. We kept the scheme light and bright but brought in accents of tartan, check and panelling creating a sense of comfort and the essence of an old fisherman’s cottage.  We added atmospheric lighting through wall lights and pendant drops once again making the space feel more homely.
